Description

Rolex 18K/SS Oyster Perpetual DateJust (36mm) with lovely original black dial & HIRSCH Alligator leather strap finished in black - very rare to find with such a nice, original dial.

Case

18K yellow gold and stainless steel case is in superb original condition with 'Fluted' yellow gold bezel and matching screw down 'Twinlock' winding crown. Case reference no: 1601. Case serial no: 2536xxx.

Case dimensions are 36mm in diameter (not including crown), 12mm thick and 42mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

Original, lovely black dial with applied gold 'baton' hour markers, Rolex coronet at 12 o'clock & complementing gold hands. Signed "Rolex Oyster Perpetual DateJust, Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified" with "T Swiss Made T" at 6 o'clock. Date aperture at 3 o'clock.

Acrylic crystal has just been replaced (during recent service) and is perfect with no marks, scratches or chips of any kind.

Bracelet/Strap

We have fitted a very high quality, HIRSCH , Alligator leather strap finished in black to the watch, with complementing Rolex gold-filled buckle.

Movement

Automatic model 1601, signed Rolex movement in very fine condition - running perfectly and keeping superb time. Watch has just been fully serviced by our Rolex accredited watchmaker and comes with full 12 months warranty.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories

As is the norm with most vintage timepieces, this particular watch doesn't come with original boxes or paperwork. It does however, come with an attractive green/biege presentation box shown in the final photograph. The watch is 100% genuine and rest assured, we give a lifetime guarantee on the authenticity of all the watches we sell.
