#51139 - Rolex Oyster Perpetual Day-Date in 18ct Yellow Gold With Original Lemon Dial & Brown Leather Strap Year: 1967 Price: SOLD Shipping (Within UK): £7.50 Shipping (Worldwide): £12 Description Gentleman's Rolex Oyster Perpetual Day-Date in 18ct yellow gold with lemon dial and dark brown alligator leather strap. New model RRP: £11,530 (with President bracelet). Case 18ct yellow gold case with matching 'Fluted' yellow gold bezel in very fine condition with rare 'bark' effect on tops of lugs. Rear cover is also excellent with only one small ding (obviously cannot be seen when worn). Original screw down 'Twinlock' winding crown. Correct 1807 case reference between lugs at 12 o'clock. Case dimensions are 36mm in diameter (not including crown), 12.5mm thick and 43mm lug to lug. Dial & Crystal Very attractive lemon dial is in excellent condition and has yellow gold & onyx 'baton' style batons with matching hands and Rolex coronet at 12 o'clock. There is some very light patina across the dial but is not obvious and there is no discoloration. Dial has unusual/desirable minute/seconds track around outside edge and is signed 'Rolex, Oyster Perpetual Day-Date, Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified' with 'T Swiss T' at 6 o'clock. Dial has familiar date aperture at 3 o'clock and day aperture between 11 and 1 o'clock. Acrylic crystal has just been replaced is perfect with no marks or scratches. Bracelet/Strap Dark brown Hirsch 'Genuine Alligator' strap in dark brown with gold plated buckle.
