#50993 - Rolex Oyster Perpetual Bubbleback In 14ct With Original Roman Dial & Red/Brown Alligator Strap Year: 1946 Price: SOLD Shipping (Within UK): £7.50 Shipping (Worldwide): £12 Description Gentleman's Rolex 14ct Oyster Perpetual Bubbleback in excellent, original condition with original Roman dial and custom hand made Hirsch 'Artisanal' red/brown Alligator strap with gold plated Rolex buckle. Case Fantastic, solid 14ct yellow gold case with smooth bezel is in wonderful, original condition (no signs of any re-finishing) - a museum quality example and by far the best we have ever seen offered for sale here in the UK. The toothed edge on the case back is flawless (as be seen from images). Original yellow gold 'Rolex + Oyster' winding crown. Case dimensions are 32mm in diameter (not including crown - 34mm including), 13.5mm thick and 38.5mm lug to lug. Dial & Crystal Original, Roman dial with mixture of Roman Numerals and batons is in super-mint condition with a very light yellowing which is uniform. Dial is signed "Rolex Oyster Perpetual, Chronometer" with "Swiss Made" at 6 o'clock. Original gilt 'stick' hands are in perfect condition with contrasting blued steel centre seconds hand. Plexiglas/acrylic crystal is brand new and free from scratches or marks. Bracelet/Strap Hirsch 'Artisanal' hand made Louisiana Alligator strap finished in red/brown. We have these straps custom made by Hirsch in Austria so we can fit a genuine Rolex gold plated buckle to the strap which complements the watch perfectly. Movement Automatic model 3131, signed Rolex movement in very fine condition. Has just been fully overhauled, running perfectly and keeping superb time. Full 12 months warranty.
