Description

Excellent condition Rolex Submariner in stainless steel with perfect 'Tritium' dial. Model ref: 16610. These have become more and more collectable over recent years, and we've seen desirability shoot up considerably. We previously sold this watch back in 2016.

Case

Case is in excellent condition and is a superb example. Brushed finish on the top and bottom with highly polished sides - this is a 'pin-holes' case design. Original bezel insert does show some wear marks but remains in very good condition Original winding crown also shows a small piece of wear/mark, exaggerated by the images, but not obvious at all when worn. Case ref: 16610. Serial number: UX511xxx.

Case dimensions are 40mm (not including crown - 44mm including), 13mm thick and 47.5mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

Original 'Tritium' dial is in perfect condition with no marks or discolouration of any kind. Date window at 3 o'clock. Dial is signed 'Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date, Submariner, 1000ft = 300m, Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified' with 'Swiss -T <25' at 6 o'clock.

The crystal which was replaced at the watch's 2022 service, remains in perfect condition with no chips or scratches of any kind.

Bracelet/Strap

Bracelet is in excellent condition showing only slight stretch/play in links - easily 8.5/10. Bracelet length is approx. 8.75" or can be adjusted. This is a full retail bracelet + 1 extra link.

Movement

Model 16610, calibre 3135 automatic movement in excellent, all original condition and comes complete with 12 months warranty.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories
