Description

Gentlemen's solid 18K pink gold Movado in excellent condition with very attractive white dial and dark brown Alligator strap. A brand made famous by their 'Museum Watch' in the late 1940's. This is an exceptionally pretty, good size, post-war watch.

Case

Large (for the period) solid 18K pink gold case is in beautiful condition. Very rare to find these more ornate post-war watches in such crisp condition. Two-piece case has integral decorated bezel with 'coin edged' sides and fancy lugs. Plain, unmarked rear of snap-back case - no engravings, scratches or marks of any kind. A really nice looking vintage piece that doesn't come up small on the wrist as so many vintage gold watches do.

Case dimensions are 35mm in diameter (not including crown), 9mm thick and 44mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

Gorgeous bright white (refinished) dial with mixture of applied gold baton and pyramid hour markers with numbers at 6 & 12 o'clock. Dial also has an outer minute/seconds track. Dial is signed 'Movado' with 'Swiss' at 6 o'clock.

Plexiglas/acrylic crystal is like new and flawless with no chips or scratches of any kind.

Bracelet/Strap

We have fitted a high quality dark brown Hirsch 'Regent' strap to the watch with complementing gold-filled buckle. We feel this strap complements the watch perfectly.

We are also Hirsch stockists and can change the strap to any from their 'Classic' machine made range, or 'artisanal' range of superb hand-made straps if you desire (subject to cost). Please contact us for further details..

All original, 17 jewel manual winding movement in perfect working order with full 12 months warranty.
