#51290 - Rolex 18ct Precision With White Sub-Seconds Dial & Black Alligator Strap Year: c1954 Price: SOLD Shipping (Within UK): £7.50 Shipping (Worldwide): £12 Description Beautiful and very rare 18ct Rolex Precision in very fine used condition with pretty white sub-second dial - original hands and winding crown. Unusual to find these in 18ct as the vast majority are 9ct. Case 18ct yellow gold case in very fine, original condition with no signs of repairs or misuse. Very attractive design. Rear snap-on cover is also in very fine condition with no dents or dings. The watch retains its original winding crown. Case dimensions are 33mm in diameter (not including crown), 9.5mm thick and 41mm lug to lug. Dial & Crystal The dial, as in very often the case on a Rolex of this vintage has been recently re-finished (to the very highest standard as can be seen) and is now in flawless condition. Dial has applied 'baton' hour markers with small pyramid markers at 3, 6 & 9 o'clock. It also has an applied '12' and the Rolex coronet at 12 o'clock. Dial is signed 'Rolex Precision with 'Swiss Made' at 6 o'clock. The crystal is a standard Plexiglas/acrylic type and is brand new. Bracelet/Strap We have fitted a brand new Hirsch 'Genuine Alligator' strap, finished in black with complementing gold-filled buckle to the watch.
