#51287 - Rolex OysterDate With Black 'California' Dial and Black Leather Strap Year: 1973 Price: SOLD Shipping (Within UK): £7.50 Shipping (Worldwide): £12 Description Gentleman's stainless steel Rolex OysterDate with black 'California' dial and black Hirsch 'Duke' leather strap. Case Stainless steel case in excellent condition with smooth stainless steel bezel and screw down 'Twinlock' winding crown. Rear cover or case is in very fine condition and doesn't exhibit any of the all-to-common scratches/damage that is often seen. Case reference number: 6694. Case dimensions are 34.5mm in diameter (not including crown), 12mm thick and 42mm lug to lug. Dial & Crystal Dial has been re-finished in black and is now in 'as new' condition featuring a mixture of Roman and Arabic Numerals (this style is often referred to as 'California'). Dial has matching 'Mercedes' hands and is signed 'Rolex, OysterDate, Precision' with '-T Swiss T-' at 6 o'clock. Date aperture at 3 o'clock (original date wheel). Acrylic crystal has just been replaced is perfect with no marks or scratches. Bracelet/Strap We have fitted a new black Hirsch 'Duke' strap with complementing stainless steel buckle to the watch. We are also Hirsch stockists and can change the strap to any from their 'Classic' machine made range, or 'artisanal' range of superb hand-made straps if you desire (subject to cost).
