#50667 - Rolex Oyster Perpetual Bubbleback In 18ct/SS With Original Dial & 'Oyster' Riveted Bracelet Year: 1947 Price: SOLD Shipping (Within UK): £7.50 Shipping (Worldwide): £12 Description Gentleman's Rolex 18ct/SS Oyster Perpetual Bubbleback in excellent, original condition with original dial and 9ct/SS original Rolex riveted 'Oyster' stretchable/extensible bracelet. Case Stainless steel case in excellent, original condition with 'index' yellow gold bezel and original screw down 'Rolex Oyster' winding crown also in gold. Most Bubblebacks have been heavily re-finished during their lives but this one still has it's original satin finish on the top and underside of the case. A very fine example. Case dimensions are 32mm in diameter (not including crown - 34mm including), 13.5mm thick and 38.5mm lug to lug. Dial & Crystal Original, metallic finish dial with applied gold Arabic numbers and batons is also in excellent condition with a pleasing, light patina which covers the entire surface. Dial is signed "Rolex Oyster Perpetual, Certified Chronometer" with "Swiss Made" at 6 o'clock. Original gold/gilt 'leaf' hands are in excellent condition with contrasting blued centre seconds hand. Plexiglas/acrylic crystal is brand new and free from scratches or marks. Bracelet/Strap Although not original to the watch (bracelet dates to 1952), the 9ct/SS riveted 'Oyster' bracelet is in superb condition with all of its springs intact and working perfectly. It is extremely rare to find these bracelets still intact and this one complements the watch perfectly. The bracelet will currently fit approx. 7.5" wrist or can be adjusted. Movement Automatic model 3372, signed Rolex movement in very fine condition. Has just been fully overhauled, running perfectly and keeping superb time. Full 12 months warranty.
